What is Transformify Portal?

Transformify Portal is the place to:

• Set User profile details
• Create your architecture environment: Organizations and Projects
• Set Policies (Data residency, Information security, GDPR)
• Invite Team users and set Project Roles
• Set Billing information and choose Subscription plans
• Manage projects, environments and monitor Infrastructure Capacity

What is an Organization?

An organization actually represents an entity that reflects a real-life working environment. The Organization may represent your entire company, one department, team, a team of friends, or just one person, where you can provision one or many projects.

It can have a formal (consisted of structured rules, roles, and procedures) or informal structure. Usually is led by an Organizational Owner and contains one or many projects.

What is the recommended organization architecture?

Although it may seem appropriate to create a new organization for every project, usually it is not the best and the smartest strategy.

Lack of structure in organizations can lead to poor communication and collaboration, unclear policies, role confusion, and hard to manage billing profiles.

To avoid these signals, regardless of your entity size we recommend an archetype model with one organization to help you plan the organization’s structure. This approach enables you to:

• have clear organization overview and manage its users
• set and manage organization policies in a single place, thus having control on information security, project data residency, subscription plans to forecast expenses and GDPR
• a single place to view and manage all your projects
• one billing profile as a hub place to monitor all projects' subscription plan, invoices and access your payment data

What is a Project?

Project is the business idea, innovation or prototype that you will provision in our Transformify Portal as web application. Displayed as container, the Project represents centralized place to steer all operations and its related activities.
